Pumpable Materials

Our pumpable materials are designed for pumping into voids caused by deteriorated insulation, and grouting cracks and gaps in refractory linings. Our pumpable products are ideal for providing quick and easy re-insulation behind boiler tubes in sidewalls, seals and floors as well as repairs of ovens, furnaces and process equipment.

Our product range includes products made from both Superwool® and RCF fibre materials which are marketed under these brands:

Superwool® Fibre, Kaowool®, Cease-Fire® 2000 insulating foam, Therm O-Hot Patch™

These pumpable products are quick and easy to install with one of our HS-100 Extrusion Pump or A0-25 Caulking Gun Kit.

Mouldables

Marketed under our brands of Superwool® Fibre and Kaowool®, Morgan Thermal Ceramics’ versatile mouldable putties are excellent solutions for patching refractory cracks, penetration seals, and metal stud protection. Our mouldable products are ready-to-use for temperatures of 1100°C/2000°F to 1300°C/2400°F. They feature excellent strength and low fired shrinkage. Our Superwool® mouldable product also produces a non-wetting to Aluminium insulating product with sticky consistency.

Air Setting Cements & Coatings

Morgan Thermal Ceramics offers a wide range of air setting cements and coatings marketed under our brands of Cera-Kote®, Kaowool® Cement B, Super STIC-TITE® and Therm-O-Stix™ adhesive. These air-setting cement products are used for bonding insulating materials to themselves or other refractory products featuring a use limit up to 1245°C/2300°F.

Our range of coatings marketed under the brand names of Superwool® Fibre Sealcoat™ HT, Kaowool® Rigidizer™, Kaowool® Sealcoat™ HT, Unikote®, Kao-Seal™, Therm-O-Flake™ are used to protect fibre and refractory materials against chemical attack from alkalies, iron oxide and air/moisture infiltration. They also provide extra strength to these materials and have a temperature range of 800°C/1500°F up to 1500°C/2800°F.
