Flexible insulation from Morgan Thermal Ceramics utilises both BTU-BLOCK™ and Min-K® materials. These compositions have been developed to provide4 exceptional performance in the most challenging high temperature and OEM environments.
Properties of our flexible insulation materials include low weight, low thermal conductivity, excellent durability and low shrinkage at temperatures up to 982⁰C (1800⁰F). Impressive vibration resistance also features with textile encapsulations. All of the flexible insulation materials are available in pre-cut forms for highly efficient installation.
BTU-BLOCK™ Flexible Insulation
BTU-BLOCK™ in flexible compositions can be installed easily and at dramatically reduced cost without sacrificing the thermal management properties of the material.
Min-K® Flexible Insulation
The flexible Min-K® composition consists of a microporous core, between layers of high temperature cloth. It is quilted in 1” squares to ensure that the core distribution is uniform no matter the shape it is being conformed to. Min-K® flexible insulation has been used widely within aerospace applications due to its low weight and vibration resistance properties.
