The two predominant forms of FireMaster® 607 felt include:

FireMaster® 607 Expanding

A silicate fibre insulation material which expands up to 3 times its original thickness when heated without sacrificing passive insulation properties. This expanding felt is available in sheet or strip form and as such can be installed conveniently to seal gaps, joints and penetration seals. FireMaster® 607 Expanding also dramatically reduces the chances of smoke damage to surroundings as it does not generate smoke in the event of a fire.

FireMaster® 607 FireFelt ™

FireMaster® 607 FireFelt™ is a compressible insulation material particularly suited to applications where low weight and good resilience are essential; it is available in sheet form and a variety of densities. The fact that it is easy to cut and can be glued to substructure materials such as steel, have made FireFelt™ a material of choice in environments where integrated fire protection is necessary.
