The Thermal Ceramics business of Morgan Advanced Materials provides high temperature fibre, refractory and microporous insulation products and systems for thermal management in critical high temperature environments. For sever atmosphere conditions we offer engineered solutions with our Denka® Polycrystalline blankets. Denka blankets feature excellent resistance to high temperatures, mechanical stresses and chemical attack for reliable operation and extended service life. Like all Thermal Ceramics products, they provide effective and reliable insulation, reliability and reduce energy costs at key stages in iron and steel processes including steel ladles, tun dishes and vacuum ladles.
Porextherm WDS® LambdaFlex® and WDS Flexipor® flexible microporous insulation systems make them an ideal solution for use as steel ladle insulation design where they have been shown to improve energy balance by as much as 50% and provide for increased volume capacity.
