Research & Development
The World is changing continuously and in the modern World that change is accelerating. Companies that do not keep pace, continually reinventing their products and services, are left behind and are unable to satisfy their customers’ needs.
At Morgan Thermal Ceramics we see change as the driving force that enables us to grow and develop. We constantly monitor the main trends of the World economy and adapt our strategy accordingly. Our commitment to R&D is a part of this approach. We consistently reinvest a proportion of our profits in the development of new technology to make us fit for the future.
Currently, the rapidly growing demand for energy is changing the industries we serve and also our own manufacturing philosophy. Our customers are experiencing unprecedented increases in the cost of energy. Our R&D programme is at the heart of our search to find insulation systems which are more efficient and to play our role in reducing the energy consumed by industry.
In the same way, concern is growing about all aspects of the environment. We in Thermal Ceramics share this concern and are working hard to contribute products and technology that satisfy the need. We have consistently led the way with our Superwool® range in providing products with the lowest possible dust hazard in the workplace. Similarly we are working hard to develop new products which will contribute to the reduction in exhaust pollution for road vehicles.
In order to reinforce our commitment, Morgan Thermal Ceramics has recently invested in a new R&D centre in the UK to be a centre of excellence for the development of high temperature refractory insulation.
We welcome change and we create new opportunities - technology fit for the future.
